Angela is a Research Assistant at the ICTJ in Colombia. Before joining ICTJ, she worked with the Commission for the Identification of Victims of the Patriotic Union, established by the Inter-American Court of Human Rights. She also worked at the Special Jurisdiction for Peace (JEP) and at Lawyers Without Borders Canada, where she supported the team handling macro-case 3 on “deaths illegitimately presented as combat casualties.” She has five years of experience as an analyst and researcher, focusing on different dimensions of the armed conflict in Colombia.
Angela holds a Law degree from Universidad Externado de Colombia.
